Adding to the archive: How Dogs and their Dykes is building on queer history
Nessie Appleton-Smith and Mair Howells, the London-based photographer and art director behind Dogs and their Dykes, took to May’s Nicer Tuesdays stage to run the crowd through the development of a community photo project that’s been redefining queer family and companionship – their heartwarming “online love letter to dykes, and the love for their dogs”.
