Mouthwash Studio, Clay Hickson, James Junk, Thalía Gochez: Get tickets for November’s Nicer Tuesdays in LA!

For the first time, Nicer Tuesdays will be landing in Los Angeles to share ideas, creative processes and stories from some of the best artists working today, with fun and candid talks set to become a source of inspiration for all.

After the success of our two Nicer Tuesdays events in London and New York, we’re extremely glad to bring the first iteration of our creative discussions series to Los Angeles! Join us at the Nimoy Theatre, 1262 Westwood Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90024, on Tuesday 4 November!

At this month’s event, you can expect talks from Mouthwash Studio, an LA based design agency influencing culture at-large from within, as well as talks from Clay Hickson, the small press legend behind publishing house Tan & Loose Books as well as the monthly Risograph printed newspaper The Smudge.

You’ll also get to hear from James Junk, the popular designer and content creator who, when he isn’t actively being “the only graphic designer in Los Angeles”, is creating intelligent and thought provoking visual essays. Last but not least, the photographer, fashion stylist and director Thalía Gomez will be joining us to discuss the creation of her Legacy photo series, which uplifts small businesses in LA. Finally, our compere for the evening will be It’s Nice That’s US editor-at-large Elizabeth Goodspeed!

Our partner Dropbox will be doing an activation which gives attendees the chance to demo their new tool Dropbox Dash, an AI-teammate that allows users to find files, videos and images to collaborate with team members more efficiently. There will also be merch up for grabs and the chance to enter a raffle for a free Dropbox subscription!

The event will take place on Tuesday 4 November at the Nimoy Theatre in Los Angeles. Doors will open at 6:00 pm and the talks will begin around 7pm. The full address is Nimoy Theatre, 1262 Westwood Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90024. There will be parking spaces available for $3 at ParkABM on 10880 Wilshire Blvd. It’s a seated event, so get there early to ensure a seat and check out our partner Dropbox beforehand!

Please be aware that photography and filming may be taken at this event for marketing and promotional purposes. If you do not want to be photographed or filmed, please speak to our team on the day.
