Sam Pilling won an army of fans thanks to this video for SBTRKT’s Wildfire and as such may just be the one to beat in the UK Music Video Awards Best New Director category. He quite often works with a gritty urban aesthetic, but nothing is ever quite as it seems – a skill exemplified in this track for Wretch 32.
