“People should not be afraid of beauty and I sense a fear of beauty amongst viewers of conceptual art,” says Job Wouters aka Letman in this excellent short film. It documents Job’s creation of a mural in the lobby of the Walker Art Center and puts some behind-the-scenes films to shame in its ability to combine insight into both his technical process and his ideas around art. Job also gave a two hour lecture at the iconic gallery which you can see here but if you’re pushed for time, then do take a couple of minutes to enjoy the making of the mural – you even get to see ob do a little dance.
