Fashion studio Christopher Raeburn unveils new logo and rebrands as Raeburn
Christopher Raeburn has decided to celebrate the tenth birthday of his eponymous, luxury eco-menswear brand by giving it a new name, and a new visual identity. As of this week, Christopher Raeburn is no more. Say hello to… Raeburn.
Late last year Christopher got his brother Graeme (who was previously the lead designer at London bike-wear brand Rapha) on board as a performance director. Speaking to fashion retail publication Drapers, Christopher says: “With our tenth year in business, we’re proud to announce my brother Graeme Raeburn joining the company and a natural branding shift to Raeburn as we continue to grow our team, wholesale, retail and consultancy platforms.”
Part of this new look involves one pretty major change. Christopher, who divides his time between Raeburn and his role as global creative director over at Timberland, has unveiled a new logo.
It is, he says, “an iconic, graphic interpretation of a 28” parachute used by air forces globally and unique for their colour blocked construction. White, olive, and sand hues allow for camouflage whilst fluoro orange allows for signalling and detection.”
Why not celebrate the brand’s birthday by taking yourself on a trip down memory lane? You’ll end up back in 2017 when Christopher joined us at Here to discuss the Remade, Reduced, Recycled philosophy which underpins nearly everything he does. Enjoy.
