A large-scale emergency print sale has united some of the best-known names in photography, film and art in aid of the urgent humanitarian crisis in Gaza. A total of 150 international artists have come together to raise funds.

Among the names involved are Cindy Sherman, Jim Goldberg, Jeremy Deller, Akinola Davies, Mahmoud Manaa, Ségolène Ragu, Fumi Nagasaka, Yorgos Lanthimos, Sharna Osborne, Sunil Gupta, Stacy Kranitz, Adama Jalloh and Jamie Hawkesworth. The full list of 150 names, which spans leading figures in a huge range of disciplines, can be found at the Pictures for Palestine site.

100 per cent of all proceeds will go to Medical Aid for Palestinians, a UK-based charity/non-profit which provides medical care to Palestinians and is working to distribute medical supplies, aid and food procured from inside Gaza – you can read more about the charity’s emergency appeal for Gaza here.

The group behind Pictures for Palestine previously raised £621,785 for the UK charity fighting poverty the Trussell Trust.

Every print sold by Pictures for Palestine will be an open edition priced at £100 and printed at a 8 x 11” size. The sale launched 15 November and will run through to 6 December.
