It’s Nice That is looking for the next member of its creative team, a middleweight-level creative to work across in-house projects and external brand partnerships, from our east London studio. Head straight over to the job ad here or read on for more information about the role and what you could find yourself working on.

We’re looking for someone ambitious, culturally astute and with experience delivering design and art direction projects for either commercial clients, editorial projects or both. The successful applicant will be working across It’s Nice That’s own initiatives, including Printed Pages magazine, our monthly Nicer Tuesdays events, our annual regular series such as Review of the Year, The Graduates and Ones to Watch, as well as a broad range of brand partnerships.

We collaborate with an array of global and local brands to produce a range of unique and creatively ambitious outcomes. If you’re right for this role, you could end up designing a sculptural installation in the heart of London (as we did for our project Double Take at Coal Drops Yard in the autumn) or developing and producing a life-drawing class in collaboration with a US shaving brand (as we did for Harry’s in 2017) or commissioning a series of short films for Channel 4’s Random Acts initiative. In the past our creative team has also designed a watch for Timex, created a playful and fully immersive installation for The Conran Shop, and commissioned a huge range of creatives, across various disciplines, for large-scale online projects for brands including Dropbox and Adobe.

Among the candidates, we’ll be on the lookout for creative people who enjoy working across ideas, art direction and design, but who can bring other skills to the table as well; who love collaborating with creative, production and editorial teams; who have an eye for detail and quality, and a passion for storytelling; and who have experience working with clients from pitching stage right through to delivery. This might be someone who currently occupies a mid-weight creative role, or a junior who’s ready to step up.

For more detail on the skills and experience we’re looking for, plus more information about what it’s like to work at It’s Nice That and the HudsonBec Group, check out the full job ad here.
